The Discipleship Journey revolves around personal discipleship relationships.

This is our vision for personal discipleship: gospel-driven, life-on-life relationships, in which followers of Jesus invest in a few others so that—by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God—participants become maturing followers of Jesus, able to shepherd others to maturity in Christ.

Guiding Convictions

• We believe every man was created by God and for God, to be in an intimate relationship with him and to serve him with his life.

• We believe discipleship relationships are a primary means through which God saves, matures, and equips men to reproduce other maturing disciples of Jesus. When, by God’s grace, Christian men intentionally invest in each other’s lives, a few at a time, with the aim of maturing in Christ and then multiplying, ripples for God’s Kingdom will be created that extend beyond our line of sight and into eternity.

• We believe that while many churches do a good job of offering teaching and programs for helping men grow in the knowledge of their faith, there remains a need for men to be involved in personal discipleship relationships—where abiding in Christ, spiritual maturity, and multiplication are the primary goals.
