Your discipleship group will have three tracks to choose from for your two years together. Whatever you choose, the primary vision and method will be the same!

Our Vision: Every man a maturing disciple of Jesus, every man a disciple maker, to the Glory of God.
Our Method: The Discipleship Journey revolves around personal discipleship relationships. This is our vision for personal discipleship: gospel-driven, life-on-life relationships, in which followers of Jesus invest in a few others so that—by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God—participants become maturing followers of Jesus, able to shepherd others to maturity in Christ.

Here is what will be the same for all three tracks:

  1. Groups of three or four coming to a once-a-week “come as you are” meeting

  2. Sincere life-on-life friendship

  3. Personal time and group discussion that helps apply Jesus’s Good News to everyday life

  4. Confidentiality and life-change accountability

  5. A group covenant, including an emphasis on multiplication

  6. Doing a “Discipleship Journey Guide Week” monthly; the Guides allows us to discuss key aspects of being a disciple and disciple maker and how to take next steps in our daily lives.

  7. A group leader who starts the group, sets an example of vulnerability and “being in it together” (for example, asking good questions and not talking noticeably more than the others) and gives the other participants opportunities to lead
